Subscription Concert with the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra, NOSPR

Nestor Bayona performed together with NOSPR a captivating program that featured Penderecki’s fourth symphony and Chopin’s first piano concerto, with the exceptional pianist Szymon Nehring. The concert took place at NOSPR in Katowice on April 6, 2023.

Nestor was recently named Resident Conductor of the orchestra, a role comes after he assisted the orchestra and Marin Alsop on a successful tour to Japan.

Performing Penderecki’s fourth symphony with NOSPR was an extraordinary and humbling experience. The orchestra holds cherished memories of playing this piece under the guidance of the composer himself. Performing in this magnificent hall with such an orchestra is always a privilege and a source of great joy for me.
